Josh Cummins is a U.S. Air Force Security Forces veteran and a 16 year law enforcement veteran with experience in Patrol operations, Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) tactical deployment, law enforcement instruction, criminal investigations and hostage negotiations.

For the past 2 years, Josh has served as the Training Coordinator and the Basic Peace Officer Academy Director for the Liberty County Texas Sheriff’s Office. Josh is an active operator on the Liberty County Special Response Team and serves as the team’s Training Coordinator. Josh holds a TCOLE Master Peace Officer License and has attended numerous other specialized training courses.

In addition to being a TCOLE Law Enforcement and Firearms instructor, Josh also holds instructor certifications for Taser Electronic Control Device, ASP Tactical Weapons (expandable impact baton), Defensive Tactics, ALS Less Lethal Weapons (Impact Munitions and NFDD), and OC Aerosols/Chemical Agents. Josh is also an Adjunct Instructor for College of the Mainland in Texas City, TX and Texas Southernmost College in Brownsville, TX.
